Efe Hotel Gocek

Great location within easy reach of bars/restaurants and marina. Room size sufficient though balcony a little tight, but nothing the hotel can do about that. Good varied breakfast. Great pool. Staff pleasant. We'd stayed previously in a larger room.

The location, in a beautiful garden and with a very nice, large pool all within a few minutes walking distance of Gocek centre , is unbeatable. The views of the surrounding hills and mountains add to the feeling of being in a rural location rather than a city. Plenty of parking space . The room and bathroom are simple but everything works well. A large, comfortable bed, good a/c, a small balcony with pool and garden views. Just right!

Lovely hotel with friendly helpful staff. Great pool and ping pong table. Close to the restaurants and waterfront.

The location, in a garden setting, close to the center of Gocek is excellent and the large pool too. Bedroom was simple but clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly.

We've stayed here loads of times, so knew what to expect. It has a lovely pool area, and loads of shady places to read a book under a tree. The owner and his staff are very friendly and there's always someone around if you need anything. There is a very relaxed atmosphere and staff don't endlessly interrupt you or try to inundate you with unwanted services, which can be a problem in some Turkish hotels (we've tried two other hotels in Gocek recently, when the Efe had been fully booked and we found this a problem at both of them). We had a lovely room with a big sofa and outside terrace, on the shady side of the hotel, which was perfect, as the weather was extremely hot. Good, very quiet, air conditioning in the rooms. Bathrooms are slightly dated now, but everything works absolutely fine and they are spotlessly clean. We arrived rather late for lunch, but the staff rustled up a lovely salad for us, with fresh bread and cold drinks. Breakfast is buffet style, with lots of choice of cheeses, fruit, olives, eggs, jams etc, and plenty of freshly baked breads and simits. The hotel very kindly let us check out a little later than billed, even though they had people coming into the room later - this allowed us to have a relaxed morning before leaving to catch our flight. The hotel is less than five minutes flat walk to the harbour/village centre, and 20 minutes drive from Dalaman Airport. It is also a very short walk to the bus stop that serves the airport Bus Service, as well as buses to Marmaris, Fethiye and beyond.
